About NAST Russia:
The National Bodyguard Association of Russia (The NAST) was established in Moscow on December 20th 1995 by retired KGB 9th Directorate “Kremlin-9” - today's FSO - (Presidential security service) officers. For 10 years The NAST has been the sole professional bodyguard organization, which is working to establish and control a Close Protection professional approach in Russia.
Since 2004 the association is an official supporter for “Edinaya Rossia” - main political party of Russia.
Main authority of The NAST Russia is Assembly (board of regional directors). Headquarters runs all events according to the Assembly decree.
In principle The NAST Russia is running like modern order.
Headed by The NAST President Dmitry N. Fonareff, retired KGB 9th Directorate HQ senior officer, the association united 27 regional offices across the world

NAST South Africa:
The National Bodyguard Association of Russia, South African Chapter (NAST SA) was established in 2007 under the direct supervision of NAST Russia. The president Trevor Ackermann has approximately 9 years experience in South African Law Enforcement and Close Protection Services. NAST SA is not a Service Provider we do not assign Bodyguards to clients we refer clients to Bodyguards who is part of NAST SA's preferred service provider. We advise visitors on security issues and keep them informed with current affairs. We will assist with your traveling arrangements, security detail and accommodation.
